Hotel of the Month – February 2023.

Atlantis The Royal

Following a star-studded launch event which saw global icon Beyoncé take to the stage for the first time in four years, Atlantis The Royal opens its doors to guests on 10th February.

The newest and most spectacular resort to shape the Dubai skyline, this incredible property will reshape ultra-luxury stays.

Offering the longest privately-owned stretch of continuous beachfront in Dubai, at over 2km, the 795-room resort surges 43 storeys high with unparalleled views over the Arabian Sea and Palm Island.

44 of its Suites and Signature Penthouses have private infinity pools, inviting guests to swim amongst the clouds, along with an elite butler service where every need is anticipated.

Atlantis The Royal showcases no fewer than 17 restaurants and bars, including Nobu’s first ever pool and beach club and Heston Blumenthal’s debut bar, Resonance, complete with a 6.5-metre-high jellyfish aquarium, containing 4,000 moon jellies.

In addition, the resort boasts no less than 90 swimming pools and more than ten water features, aquariums and fountains, including the magnificent fire-breathing Skyblaze.

A carefully curated journey of bespoke artwork across the resort includes lobby sculpture ‘Droplets’, an original artwork at 11.5 metres tall, consisting of 5.5 tons of stainless steel, representing the first cool drop of rain in a dry desert.

The six towers that make up the resort are brought together by a 90-metre long Skypool on the 22nd floor. This in turn forms part of an outdoor entertainment experience called Cloud 22, featuring VIP cabanas with private plunge pools, a swim up-bar and a glittering head-shaped DJ booth.

Awaken Wellness meanwhile comprises 5,000 square metres of transformative wellness including a six-room Hammam Sensorium and experiences unique to the region, including moon manifestations, energy alignment, sound immersion and hypno-healing.

Atlantis The Royal is also home to the world’s largest waterpark, Atlantis Aquaventure, which holds the 2022 Guinness World Records™ title for the Most Waterslides in a Waterpark: all 50 of them.
