Finding the right holiday for a family is hard, especially one with mixed ages where everyone wants to do something different. Standard kids clubs often can’t satisfy varying ages nor do they have enough options of things to do. Forte Village over compensates for this in every way offering various academies in plenty of sports.
We have detailed some of our favourite options below:
Chelsea Football Academy
Every summer, children aged 4-14 can take part in the outstanding courses run by coaches from Chelsea football club. Three key sessions are available everyday: team building and technique in the mornings, individual coaching in the afternoons and matches in the evenings. Specific courses are also available for goalkeepers, strikers, defenders and playmakers. Participants will receive a football kit (Chelsea uniform) which includes personalized t-shirts, shorts, socks, shin pads and rucksack meaning you don’t need to worry about taking anything with you!
2018’s coaches include Dennis Wise and Tore Andre Flo.
Rugby Academy
Forte Village’s Rugby academy is dedicated to boys and girls ages between 5 and 16 years. Matches and training take place on a grass pitch inside the stunning Leisure Land and courses include kit. Our stars of tomorrow can be trained by some of sports finest including Austin Healey, William Greenwood and Martin Johnson. At the end of the course you will be awarded with a Diploma and a much sought-after medal!
Other academies also available at Forte village are Cricket, Tennis, Cycling, Hockey, Basketball, Netball, Buglioni’s Boxing, Swimming, Magic, Go Karting, Gourmet Cooking and Dance meaning there is truly something for every child.
Wonderland
For younger children not yet old enough for a sport specific academy, then Wonderland is something that will stimulate every sense! Mario’s Village is a child size model village where children can play the role of Fireman, Hairdresser, the Mayor and many more.
Barbie’s Dreamhouse
The real unique experiences lie with Barbie’s Dreamhouse. Barbie makes appearances and children can spend the day learning to cook pizza, model clay, play an instrument or dance. There are various packages available that include mum and daughter pamper experiences, movie afternoons and Barbie Fashion Shows!
For the older children, there is Leisure Land. This area includes go karting, bowling and a disco and is located across the main road from the hotels but is safely linked by an underpass.
Spa
When the children are fully occupied, comes the fun for the parents. Forte Village has a huge range of spa facilities which is another place where it really excels itself. Acquaforte is both a highly credited therapeutic center and the ideal place to relax and rebalance the body and mind. It is also a member of the Leading Spas of the World
The facilities include 6 Thalasso therapy pools with saline and sea oil concentrations, Turkish Bath & Sauna, Gym and Performance Centre. For the more exclusive treatments, you can visit the Forte Lab for health diagnostics, Laser Treatment centre for Back pain or meet with a therapist to discuss a detox, weight loss or anti-aging programme.
If that wasn’t enough, Forte Village also offers 10 pools, a range of watersports, horse riding, 12 tennis courts and a 27-hole Molas Championship golf course just a 15-minute drive away!
Eating
Forte Village offers 21 restaurants in high season from gourmet food to buffets and grills. Every summer over 20 international Michelin starred chefs are invited to host gourmet evenings of their cuisine. There is also a professional cooking school with Italian Master chef Carlo Cracco.
Stay
Hotel Castello 5*
Located in a secluded forest Grove adjacent to the beach, it is perfect for those who seek the service and lifestyle of a luxury hotel. The 4th and 5th floors are the Executive Floors of Hotel Castello and are served by a private lift. They offer spectacular sweeping views over the sea and gardens of Forte Village stretching as far as the surrounding mountains.
