Nîmes , France

Located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Cevennes hills, Nîmes is one of the prettiest cities in Southern France.

Steeped in history, one of the must-see sights here is the Maison Carrée, an exceptionally well preserved Roman monument.

Nîmes also has a beautiful historic centre, with narrow streets and tree-lined boulevards typical of southern France. The park of the Jardins de la Fontaine, laid out in 1745, is one of the oldest city parks in France, and a delightful area of greenery, fountains and shade on the edge of the old town.  The cathedral of Notre Dame & St. Castor partly dates back to the 12th century, but was mostly rebuilt in later centuries

Nimes is a great place to take your team if they are avid history buffs as the city has many small museums, the most famous being the Natural History Museum, on the Boulevard Courbet, and the Archaeological Museum.

Geneva, Switzerland

Geneva lies at the southern tip of expansive Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). Surrounded by the Alps and Jura mountains, it enjoys breath-taking views of Mont Blanc. The headquarters of Europe’s United Nations and the Red Cross have their homes in this wonderful Swiss city that is also a global hub for diplomacy and banking.

The city can be split into two halves with an old town on one side with the more modern areas on the other. Geneva has a distinctly French influence, from the language to gastronomy and bohemian districts like Carouge.

Take a fondue cruise on Lake Geneva to truly take in the stunning views and to see the Geneva landmark jet d’eau, a fountain that pumps 500 litres of water per second to a height of 140 metres.

The skiing resorts of Chamonix Mont Blanc and Courmayer, Aiguille de Midi and Verbier are only about 90 minutes from Geneva making it a great hub for a group skiing trip.
