Offering business and leisure travellers alike a mode of transport that is comfortable, efficient, affordable, romantic and sustainable, a new night train connecting Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels will be launched this April by private railway carrier RegioJet and Dutch start-up European Sleeper.
The connection will depart in the early evening from Prague, whisking travellers through Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin and Dresden, before terminating in Brussels, where it will arrive in the early morning. The return trip will leave Brussels early evening, stop at Amsterdam, Berlin, Dresden and Prague, where again it will have a convenient arrival time in the morning.
Trains will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and the journey takes around 15 hours. Each ticket will include complimentary Wi-Fi, breakfast and a lie-flat bed.
Going forward, European Sleeper plans to set up a network of overnight sleeper trains from the Netherlands and Belgium to relevant destinations in Europe.
