The UAE has announced that from 1st August, ANY traveller arriving in or transiting through all the country’s airports, including citizens, residents and tourists, must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result not older than 96 hours.
Previously, the UAE had said that taking a PCR test on arrival at the airport was sufficient.

Passengers should still expect to be tested a second time when they arrive at any UAE airport.
In addition, all departures via the country’s airports who are headed to the EU, the UK and countries that require a COVID-19 test, must do the test before boarding.

* None of the above testing applies to children under 12 years of age or children with severe and moderate disabilities.
