BA launch first California route from Gatwick Airport

 

British Airways are introducing a new flight to Oakland, San Francisco Bay from London’s Gatwick Airport. 

Launching on March 28th 2017, the new route will be operated by a B777-200ER aircraft and will run four times weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The flight will leave Gatwick Airport at 1020 and land at Oakland International Airport at 1315. The return flight will take off at 1505, arriving back at Gatwick at 0925 the following day. On Tuesdays, the service will run 65 minutes later.

Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Head of Commercial at Gatwick, said: “We’re very excited to open up California to our customers in the Gatwick area and position British Airways as the number one European carrier to the Golden State.”
