Chef Endo Kazutoshi Comes to The Berkeley
Chef Endo is known throughout the world for his profound skill and achievements in the culinary sphere. One of the original pioneers behind London’s legendary Japanese restaurant Zuma, the third-generation sushi master is launching a pop-up restaurant in The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge.
This fabulous foodie event will run from 20th July to 31st August and is intended to echo the traditional omakase experience. As a result, the pop-up will be located in a hidden spot in the hotel and play host to only eight people at a time. These lucky diners will be witness to an intimate exploration of Chef Endo’s skill.
The event will feature a number of the signature dishes that Chef Endo has honed over his 20-year career, all of which will be made with the highest quality and freshest ingredients available. The fifteen-course extravaganza will include such mouth-watering delicacies as Scottish scallop oshinogi, wagyu beef agemono, and lemon sole usuzukuri.
After enjoying a selection of Japanese-inspired cocktails, put together by The Berkeley’s excellent in-house mixologists at the hotel’s Blue Bar, guests will be seated at the high counter to begin their gastronomic journey. According to The Berkeley’s website, the 15-course menu is priced at £150 per guest and a sake and wine pairing menu for guests will be offered on the night for guests wishing to add to their experience.
