The world’s longest flight gets an upgrade
Emirates president Tim Clark has revealed that Emirates airlines will be using an A380 to serve their longest non-stop flight between Dubai and Auckland this December.
The A380 will accommodate 489 passengers in a three-class structure. Of these 489 passengers, 399 will be in economy, 76 in business and 14 in first class.
The flight is expected to take 16 hours and 5 minutes between Dubai and Auckland. Auckland to Dubai is expected to take slightly longer at 17 hours, 20 minutes. The route length is 14,200 kms.
The Emirates A380 will also provide passengers superior comfort in all classes. In particular, economy class passengers will find their accommodation more spacious and roomier.
