Emirates Unveils New Business Class Cabin Configuration
Emirates has showcased its new business class cabin and configuration onboard its Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, featuring new wider seats laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration for the first time.
The revamp comes as part of a $150 million refurbishment programme for its existing fleet of 777-200LR aircrafts.
The airline’s newly renovated business class seats are now two inches wider, have a pitch of 72 inches and move into a fully flat sleeping position for a more comfortable journey.
Other features include touchscreen controls for the seat and inflight entertainment system, several personal lighting options, privacy panels between seats, a shoe stowage area, footrest and a personal mini-bar.
A mini lounge area with beverages and snacks such as crisps, sandwiches and fruit will also be accessible to customers during the flight.
