Hong Kong Airport Announce Skycity Development Plan
The Hong Kong Airport Authority has unveiled plans to build a huge complex near Terminal 2 at Hong Kong International Airport.
Scheduled to open by 2021, the Skycity development will feature a hotel offering 450 to 750 rooms, along with retail, dining and entertainment facilities.
Airport Authority Hong Kong chairman Jack So Chak-kwong said: "Our vision is to create a new destination that goes far beyond the traditional notion of a shopping mall.
“Located right next to the airport, Skycity aims to capture broad opportunities in tourism and business, while also providing a dynamic lifestyle and family entertainment hub for Hong Kong residents and visitors alike."
