The Ritz Paris is reborn and freshly restored
The iconic Ritz Paris has officially reopened following a four year, multi-million-dollar renovation.
The classic hotel has made improvements to the building’s centuries-old infrastructure while restoring the signature designs of its most famed guests.
The 159 rooms have been revamped and reduced to 142, complete with antique furnishings, heated floors in the bathrooms, and 71 suites.
The Ritz Club has also been updated with a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a pool and the first-ever Chanel Spa. The Chanel au Ritz Paris features seven treatment rooms and a supply of Chanel products to offer guests “deeply indulgent, restorative moments of relaxation.”
Other features of the hotel include a gallery, an underground ballroom, a 21,500-square-foot garden, and an area for afternoon tea.
To celebrate its grand reopening, the Ritz Paris have released a short film called ‘Behind the Door’. See below.
