Lufthansa Launches Flight from Berlin to the US After 16 Years
Lufthansa has launched its first long-haul flight, after 16 years, from Berlin to the United States.
The airline’s non-stop service to the German capital will run five times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday onboard an Airbus A330-300.
Commenting on the flight, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, Lufthansa Group vice president, airline sales, The Americas said:
“The Lufthansa Group finds the addition of the JFK-Berlin route to be an important pillar of German-American relations. It continues to display the Group’s strong commitment to servicing the United States of America.”
“Furthermore, passengers travelling on these newly introduced flights will be able to experience the quality service and products that Lufthansa Group is proud to offer.”
